Schools that understand attachment disorders

Being an adopted it was imperative that our school understood attachment disorders and the effects of trauma. Thankfully our school was really understanding and worked with us to care for our children so that our kids knew we were all on the same team. Although we had a good experience I don't think this is consistent across all schools and a lot more could be done.

Why the contribution is important

Children spend a lot of time in school and they need to feel safe and understood before learning can commence.
